NOTICE – Council Vacancy Jan 2022
The Corporation of the Township of Nairn and Hyman is in the process of filling a vacant seat of a member of Council for the remainder of the current term of Council.
Council invites any person qualified pursuant to Sections 17(2) and 29(1) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 to hold office as a member of Council to submit the following:
Original signed copies of Form 1 and the Council Vacancy Application Form must be received on or before January 31, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. Due to the Municipal Office being closed to the public, please call ahead and schedule a time to drop off the forms. All interested candidates will be required to show a government issued ID. The applications will be reviewed at the regular meeting of Council on February 14, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.
